Alfred helps people at one company introduce someone they know to that company's recruiter. This page says what Alfred keeps, who sees it, and for how long.
What does Alfred know about me?
Your name, and your company and LinkedIn link if they were added. They're entered by the recruiter or the person who referred you. When a recruiter asks who knows you, they're posted in a company channel so coworkers who know you can say so.
How long does Alfred keep it?
Until 30 days after the introduction ends: you say no, it closes, you withdraw, or the recruiter marks it hired or not moving forward. If none of those happens, 12 months after the last update.
Does Alfred get my phone number?
Never. The person who invited you sends the message from their own phone or email.
What happens to my email?
Alfred asks for it only after you say yes. It emails you a code through its email provider, Resend, to check the address. When you share it, Alfred sends it to the recruiter in a private message and deletes its own copy once delivery is confirmed, or after 7 days if it isn't. If you stop before sharing, Alfred deletes the address within 2 hours. Resend keeps its own record of the code email, including your address, for up to 30 days.
Does Alfred know when I open the link?
It notes the first time the link is opened, so the person who sent it isn't asked to send it again.
What if I say no?
Alfred asks for no email. The recruiter sees only that the request closed. If you ask not to be contacted about the role, the recruiter is told that.
Can I change my mind after saying yes?
Yes, for 12 months, from the same link. Alfred removes your email from the message it sent, tells the recruiter to stop contacting you, and deletes any referral credit. It can't remove copies the recruiter or the company's systems already kept.
What happens if I'm hired?
Your name, the role, the recruiter and who introduced you are kept for 24 months so the introducer can get credit, then deleted. If you withdraw, that record is deleted too.
Verification codes are 8 digits, expire in 10 minutes, and prove you can open an inbox, not who you are. Alfred keeps counts of requests and outcomes, with no names or emails, for 24 months.
